Bridging, a Twin Cities-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the largest furniture bank in the United States and Canada. With locations in Bloomington and Roseville, Bridging provides furniture and household goods to local households in need. We also accept quality, gently used furniture and household goods, which reduces landfill space by millions of pounds every year.
The majority of people that come to Bridging are transitioning out of homelessness and poverty. However, other households that walk through our doors are fleeing domestic abuse, facing natural disasters, live with debilitating disabilities, or are refugees from war-torn countries. Households in need are referred to us through a network of over 125 nonprofit organizations and social service agencies. These partners verify there is a need for the households that come to Bridging.
By providing furniture and household goods, Bridging not only gives the essential items for a home, but also gives hope – and for many – a leap toward stability for the very first time. So help the thousands of local people in need and get involved today.
